Chatted with a fellow artist yesterday about how I often mix wine with paint. About five years ago, I was working on a garment but was too lazy to refill my water cup. Funny enough, I had a half-bottle of old wine nearby and used that instead. Once I discovered that wine and paint can created an unique technique, I was taken aback from the experiment.

And sure enough today I noticed on my social media timeline these memories photos popped up. The serendipitous synchronicity!

I like to call myself queen of the archive, and I'm so grateful I keep such documented visuals to reference old processes and concepts. This series of self-portraits and video are re-inspiring me today to keep experimenting with my work.
