Auction Donation: Girl Scouts of Greater New York Fundraiser Gala
With past work in arts mentorship with Girl Scouts of Greater New York , Storm donated a custom made canvas to their Annual Gala auction. The painting featured the classic girl scout colors with a powerful line-up of The Cool People , evoking friendship and unity. Titled, "The Council of Cool" the piece embodied the essence of their organization. Art Auction Donation: 'Your Part Foundation" at G23NY
May 4th 2023, Gallery 23 NY partnered with Your Part Foundation to raise funds for Ukraine at their gallery at 821 Washington Street. With Storm working with G23NY with her Storm Ritter Gallery residency, she was a support in the group gallery exhibition execution. T-Shirt Fundraiser for "Road Recovery" In Honor of Jimmy Webb
In memory for East Village legend, Jimmy Webb , Storm Ritter collaborated with musicians of the Lower East Side band, Bad Vacation and photographer Matt Aquino to launch a fundraiser in his honor. From 2020 to 2022, Storm led art classes via Zoom with a troop 3302 from the Girl Scouts of Greater New York. The various classes thematically focused on Herstory , the study of powerful women who shaped our culture. Face Mask Production, Donations, & Fundraiser
From March 2020 to 2022, over two thousand face masks were handmade, donated, sold, shipped, and delivered from Storm's West Village home studio. Right before the start of the pandemic, Storm and her talented seamstress Jenny Lin designed street style face masks for a client. Painting and free creativity was the foundation at Storm Ritter Studio . St orm led painting workshops for the community and local children at the store and at Greenwich Village Alliance street fairs events.
