You'll always find tape in my bag. Even as a kid, I'd tape pennies to things to archive. But really, tape is a a godsend! My sketchbooks are mostly filled with illustrations and paintings, but there's a big chunk of my work that relies on collage. I still get my photos printed at Walgreens just so I have the physical thing! Freaks me out everything is digital. Technology becomes outdated so quickly - like if you saved photos on a floppy disk or outdated flash drive, where can you access them now? Anyway, this sketchbook from 2018 has bulk collages of photographs and writings helping me cultivate new work. Looking at it select pages now, it's very helpful to understand where I was at and where I am at now.
