I have to say, this is one of my favorite pieces I've done. I feel I could jump into this little portal and immerse myself in this psychedelic world of empowerment. Called The Empress, it's all about control. The card in tarot is associated with the soul over matter, material gain, nature, passion, and creativity. Usually depicted as a woman with a staff or wand, this world showcases women all of forms channeling Venus-fueled tools of creation (and destruction.) I know a painting is done when my soul stops me from adding to the story. Theres a sexualized feeling about this as well as a form of community and vibrance. Love for viewers to find their own meaning in this moment in time.
