2017 - CURRENT
At the Storm Ritter Galleries in Meatpacking, she worked with the non-profit, Gallery 23 New York, to take over locations. Since 2021, Storm focused her business in gallery-based fine art sales, evolving from her original retail storefront, Storm Ritter Studio, which prioritized made in-house fashion and accessible artwork. With her experience in management, she opened daily, contributing Village energy to the district. Since was already known as a retailer in Greenwich Village, Storm consistently had a flow of reoccurring visitors at the store to purchase original art and merchandise. And, the inviting showroom was a marriage of retail and exhibition, creating an immersive, polished experience that was friendly and approachable.
The brick and mortar location opened April 2023 in collaboration with G23NY, after the success of her first gallery location on at 807 Washington Street. Storm solely operated the store, providing an intimate experience for all guests. This storefront acted as a transformational retail-oriented showroom and studio space for live painting. Located near the Whitney Museum of Art and the Highline, the shop received foot traffic from art lovers and tourists alike. Since the artwork and inventory was of her own accord, she connected with buyers on a personal level, sharing insight about the fine art and merchandise.
