Before the opening of the storefront, the artist worked from her West Village home studio designing original textiles. All designs began as illustrations and paintings, evolving into large scale patterns. Fabric was digitally printed in large yardage in cotton, jersey, satin and linen blends. The textile patterns included classic t-shirts, blouses, halter tops, tank tops, bralettes, tube tops, dresses, bodysuits, skirts, pants, shorts, headbands, aprons, bags, hats and pet clothes. Unisex apparel was created for adults and children all in the production studio upstairs at Storm Ritter Studio with the prolific seamstress, Jenny Lin. Thousands of pieces were individually manufactured and exclusively sold in store. Vintage apparel was curated and altered with the original textiles as well.
