T-Shirt Fundraiser for "Road Recovery" In Honor of Jimmy Webb
In memory for East Village legend, Jimmy Webb , Storm Ritter collaborated with musicians of the Lower East Side band, Bad Vacation and photographer Matt Aquino to launch a fundraiser in his honor. After Jimmy's passing in 2020, the collaborative team aimed to raise funds for his favorite non-profit. A large percentage of the proceeds was directly donated to Road Recovery. Art Classes & Mentorship: Girl Scouts of Greater New York
From 2020 to 2022, Storm led art classes via Zoom with a troop 3302 from the Girl Scouts of Greater New York. The various classes thematically focused on Herstory , the study of powerful women who shaped our culture. Lessons on color theory, the creative process, and painting styles supplemented the discussions on female creatives from music to art. Face Mask Production, Donations, & Fundraiser
From March 2020 to 2022, over two thousand face masks were handmade, donated, sold, shipped, and delivered from Storm's West Village home studio. Right before the start of the pandemic, Storm and her talented seamstress Jenny Lin designed street style face masks for a client.
