gemini games

When I was seven, I entered an art contest depicting a drawing of myself and my family doing our favorite thing. I chose to showcase me and my parents at Disney World, but just focused on the fact we had balloons in our hands. And popcorn on the ground for the birds. We never bought balloons when we went to a theme park, but for some reason the idea of the balloon struck a chord of freedom. A release. Even as a kid, I had some symbolism in me, eh?

In this piece, I focus on the root of the reflective and communicative Gemini with notes of circus and fantasy. Surreal sketch-like piece, I feel there's a sense of movement and ethereal energy amongst the desert feeling.
